Ryan Tierney

Ryan is an experienced penetration tester with more than 18 years of experience. He has a demonstrated history of working in the information security industry. Ryan specializes in application testing (web, thick, thin, desktop, mobile, and the like), physical, IoT, and red team based covert operations. Throughout his career, he has made his hobby and passion for hacking into a profession. Some of Ryan’s contributions to the community are found in a number of open-source projects to which he has contributed throughout the years. Many of these were educationally based to help others learn about security at no cost. Along with this, Ryan is the OWASP Houston Chapter leader, founder of The Woodlands Hacker Association, and has spoken at smaller internal business meetings in many organizations about security to help drive new security initiatives. His other passions are education and family. When he is not hacking, he can be found spending time with his family.
